For Older Brother’s 2nd birthday, we had a special Scripture passage embroidered and framed for his room.
It was my goal to do the same for Little Brother, but due partly to my own procrastination and partly to variables beyond my control, his Scripture passage was completed just a few weeks ago.
He is almost three.

This “empty” frame hung in Little Brother’s room for about 8 months. He kept asking me who the people were in the picture. By the time we got the Scripture passage in the frame, I think he’d begun to view them as family. Hopefully it wasn’t too traumatic for him when they “went away.”
Oh-well!
I’m choosing to focus on how much I love the finished product, both for how it looks in his room as well as for what it represents in his life (and in ours).
Here’s a closer look…

Beautiful! But I don’t see the mistake
It’s my favorite. I have been trying to decide where I want that verse in my own house!
When my mother would drop me off at school she would say the Numbers 6:24,25 blessing over me
What a nice tradition!
I love it! What great thing to see it daily and remember God’s care for us!
